Flagwise is an educational pattern-analysis tool for Indian-equity swing traders, operated by an individual hobbyist.
What we collect
- Account data: email, optional display name. If you sign in with Google we also store your Google account identifier (
sub) and link it to your Flagwise account. - Authentication data: a salted hash of your password (never the plaintext password). Session tokens, hashed before storage.
- Usage data: the stocks you analyse, your watchlists, your saved screens, your S/R-line annotations. We retain analysis history to power the "Recent analyses" view.
- Operational logs: IP address, user agent, and timestamps of authentication events for abuse prevention and rate limiting. Logs are retained for 30 days.
What we do not collect
We do not collect demographic data, financial account credentials, brokerage links, or trading positions. Flagwise does not connect to your broker.
How we use it
- To authenticate you and keep your data isolated from other users.
- To run the pattern-analysis pipeline you explicitly request.
- To prevent abuse (rate limits, anomaly detection on logs).
We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use it for marketing.
Third parties
- Google Sign-In: receives your sign-in request only if you click the Google button. Subject to Google's privacy policy.
- Email delivery (Resend): receives your email address solely to deliver transactional mail (verification, password reset).
- Hosting (Vercel + Fly.io + Neon): process data on our behalf under their respective DPAs.
Your rights

- Export your data.
- Delete your account and all associated data.
- Correct any inaccurate information.
We honour deletion requests within 14 days.
